If you don't know, Unity Technologies - the company known for the most popular game engine "Unity" have recently introduced a runtime fee plan that charges developers every time a game is being installed (though that will only start when a game hits a certain number of downloads after 1st of January 2024). Understandably, this move was met with MASSIVE BACKLASH from developers for A LOT of good reasons. This also affects me as I'm also using unity for game development. If this runtime fee isn't cancelled, I'll have to move to another engine and this will likely delay my smaller projects and bigger ones like Sky-HI.
